Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao, coach of AC Milan, made an enthusiastic statement after his team's 3-0 win over Inter Milan in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
Milan booked their place in the final after defeating their neighbors 4-1 on aggregate, after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.
Conceicao: Milan has more quality than it showed
"The small details are important. I liked the team's approach and the cohesion the players showed, both defensively and offensively," Conceicao said, according to Football Italia.
He continued: "We struggled a little in the first minutes, but we scored and improved in some areas, and we performed at a top level in the second half."
The Milan coach continued: "The team has quality, but also humility and a desire to win everything."
He added, "Our feet are on the ground. We haven't won anything yet. We have to play the cup final and make a difference at the end of the league to help shape our image."
He added, "Milan has more quality than it has shown so far."
Milan will find out its opponent in the final when they face Bologna this evening in the second leg of the semi-final. Bologna won the first leg 3-0.
