AS Roma quickly recovered from a heavy 2-5 defeat against Inter Milan, securing a comfortable 3-0 victory over Pisa on Friday in the 32nd round of Serie A.
Dutch striker Donyell Malen scored all three of Roma's goals in the 3rd, 43rd, and 52nd minutes, bringing the capital club's points tally to 57 and placing them sixth, level on points with fifth-placed Juventus, before the completion of the round's matches. This win also strengthens Roma's hopes of qualifying for European competition next season.
Pisa remains at the bottom of the table with 18 points, level on points with second-to-last Hellas Verona.
