The Golden State Warriors have listed guard Jimmy Butler as an unspecified player for Saturday's Game 3 of their first-round series against the Houston Rockets due to a groin and gluteal strain.
Coach Steve Kerr indicated that Butler's condition remains unclear, but believes there's "a chance" he'll play more than two days after his horrific fall in the first quarter of Game 2 on Wednesday. Kerr added, "I'm relatively optimistic. Jimmy is Jimmy. We know he's ready to play no matter what, so we'll see. That's normal, and we'll see how he feels tomorrow, but I think there's a chance he'll play."
