Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr qualified for the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League Elite after a resounding 4-1 victory over Japan's Yokohama F. Marinos in the third quarter-final match.
Al-Nassr began the attacking campaign and, under pressure, scored three goals in ten minutes as the Japanese team's defense collapsed. John Duran opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed by Sadio Mané, who received a pass from Otavio and added the second. Cristiano Ronaldo completed the hat-trick, bringing the first half to a close.
Al-Nassr did not relent in the second half, maintaining their dominance. Duran added a brace with a powerful shot from the start of the half, before Yokohama F. Marinos scored the only goal in the 54th minute, and the match continued to play out.
With this, Al-Nassr qualified as the third Saudi team to reach the semi-finals, after Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli Jeddah.
