Juventus Plans to Keep Locatelli Until 2030

Italian football club Juventus is preparing to secure Manuel Locatelli's long-term future by reaching an agreement to extend his contract until 2030.

The current Italian international's contract, which was set to expire in 2028, is expected to be extended for two additional years, with his salary increasing from €3 million to €4 million per season, according to Calciomercato.

The official signing is expected to be completed next Friday.

Locatelli joined Juventus from Sassuolo in 2021 for €37.5 million, after progressing through the ranks at AC Milan.

Since joining the Turin giants, he has made 224 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 17 assists, playing a pivotal role in the "Old Lady's" Coppa Italia triumph in 2014.

Internationally, Locatelli has represented Italy in 36 matches, scoring 3 goals, and was part of the squad that won Euro 2020.
