Barcelona Signs Egyptian Striker Until 2029
FC Barcelona announced the signing of Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel-Karim on a three-year contract from Al Ahly SC, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The Spanish club stated: "FC Barcelona has informed Al Ahly SC of its intention to exercise its option to purchase Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel-Karim, who will join the club permanently and sign a three-year contract until June 30, 2029."
The 18-year-old international had initially joined Barcelona on loan from Al Ahly during the winter transfer window, with the agreement including an option to buy at the end of the season.
Abdel-Karim scored six goals in 11 appearances for the club's under-19 team. Hamza is currently participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he played the first two matches against Belgium and New Zealand.
