Ahead of Real Madrid... "The Sniper" Returns to Bayern Training

English striker Harry Kane, captain of Bayern Munich and nicknamed "The Sniper," participated in Monday's final training session before Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid in Spain.

Kane missed Bayern's 3-2 Bundesliga victory over Freiburg last Saturday due to an ankle injury and is expected to be available for the upcoming match in Spain.

The German club reported that all players participated in training except for Sven Ulreich, who is suffering from a muscle tear. The last encounter between the two clubs dates back to the 2024 semi-finals, when Real Madrid prevailed on aggregate. Bayern Munich has not managed to defeat the Spanish giants since 2012.

Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka said in a press interview broadcast earlier this week: "We haven't had much success against Real Madrid in recent years, and we want to change that. They are a world-class team with incredible individual quality on the pitch. They've had some good moments and some bad ones this season, and at the moment, you never know what you'll get from them."

Goretzka is confident that Bayern can win everything this season, as they are still competing for the Bundesliga, the German Cup, and the Champions League titles.
