League Cup: Chelsea First to Reach Semifinals
Chelsea's first team qualified for the semifinals of the English League Cup with a 3-1 victory over Cardiff City in their quarterfinal match on Tuesday.

In the second half, Chelsea's Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring in the 57th minute, before the home side equalized with a header from David Turnbull in the 75th minute. Against the run of play, Chelsea's Pedro Neto put his team ahead in the 84th minute, before Garnacho sealed the victory with his second goal of the match and Chelsea's third in the third minute of stoppage time, ending Cardiff's cup run.
