Bayern Munich goalkeeper Jonas Orbig is confused about what he will do next summer.
The young goalkeeper has been a substitute for Manuel Neuer during his injury in recent weeks and is a member of the German youth team.
"Will I travel with Bayern to the Club World Cup or participate in the European Under-21 Championship? I haven't made a final decision yet," Orbig told Sport1.
He added, "I will meet with the club and national team officials, and then the decision will be announced."
The report indicated that Bayern Munich's technical staff is keen for the 21-year-old goalkeeper to participate in the Club World Cup.
The report noted that this would mean he would miss the European Under-21 Championship.
The European Under-21 Championship runs from June 11 to 28.
While 32 clubs will compete for the Club World Cup title in the United States from June 14 to July 13,
Bayern is in Group C alongside New Zealand's Auckland City, Argentina's Boca Juniors, and Portugal's Benfica.
The tournament kicks off on June 15 with Al Ahly facing hosts Inter Miami, featuring captain Lionel Messi, at Hard Rock Stadium.
